An Evening with Moscone Family Wines

In Partnership with 1485 Wines

  • Limited to 20 guests

  • Sharing platters included

"Wine flows in my family's past, but I am its future." These words from Sara Moscone capture the essence of a family deeply rooted in winemaking tradition, yet constantly looking forward.

The Monforte vineyards represent three generations of the Moscone farming family, each contributing their knowledge, passion, and dedication to creating exceptional wines that honour both heritage and innovation.

Nestled in North West Italy, the Moscone vineyards overlook Alba's plain, with woods stretching towards the Alta Langa area. This stunning landscape is home to vineyards that span both incredibly steep hills and gentle slopes, where a variety of award-winning wines begin their remarkable journey from vine to glass.

The vineyards surround the family winery in the hamlet of Sant'Anna and include five hectares of precious land in the Bussia area. Known as the Gran Dama of Monforte, Bussia holds special significance as the most essential cru for producing Barolo, that iconic wine beloved the world over for its complexity, elegance, and remarkable ageing potential.

Your Evening Experience

Join us for an exclusive wine evening where Peter from 1485 Wines will guide you through five carefully selected wines from this independent family-owned winery. His expertise and passion will bring to life the stories behind each bottle, revealing the dedication and craftsmanship that goes into every vintage.

Throughout the evening, you'll enjoy sharing platters prepared by our chefs, designed to complement the wines and enhance your tasting experience. These platters showcase the same commitment to quality and flavour that defines both the Moscone family's approach to winemaking and our own culinary philosophy at Satchmo's Corner.
