Rugby boasts an impressive music and cultural heritage. Our aim is to support the vibrant local music and arts scene by offering a variety of music performances; from professional singers and musicians to showcasing the very best in young and amateur talent from across the region.
With a name like Satchmo’s Corner, jazz is of course a must but our music plans as eclectic as we are!

Heading to the theatre or a musical concert in town? Satchmo’s is proud to support local theatre and music groups by offering a pre-theatre menu. Enjoy a wonderful meal with us before heading to the Macready Theatre, Rugby Theatre or concert venue.

Satchmo's Corner is delighted to be marking National Poetry Day, which falls on Thursday 1 October 2026. The 2026 theme is Wonder, and we're planning something special to celebrate it in our own warm and eclectic style.
Rugby Literary Festival 2026
We're delighted to be taking part in Rugby Literary Festival 2026. Across the weekend the festival brings together authors, poets, speakers and storytellers for a packed programme of talks, workshops and meet the author sessions, celebrating the power of words and storytelling for book lovers of all ages.
